OvO is a tree house conceived as a small shelter in contact with nature.
Designed, built and produced in Italy by Modular Mobile Architecture, it is available in 2 versions. The smallest can be assembled entirely in an autonomous way, to be positioned wherever you want, from private gardens to the most remote woods to natural parks. While the largest, which allows for 2 adults to sleep inside, arises from the explosion of the phenomenon of glamping (a neologism formed by the words: glamor and camping) and can be positioned in campsites and tourist facilities, in holiday farms and in eco parks.
The almost maternal form, inspired by nature brings it closer to the archetypal forms that are in ours collective memory and makes it incredibly contemporary. The result is a mini housing unit, meditative and playful, with a rational, minimal and emotional design.
The functional core of the house is made of fabric recycled from awnings and is enclosed by a protective shell made of wood with strips coming from forests certified with respect for nature and the environment.
OVO was presented during the Salone del Mobile 2019 in Milan on 09 April 2019 at Istituto Lumen in via Lambruschini 36 – In/Bovisa area - Milan Polytechnic, and today is in production and first deliveries are expected by April 2020. More info Modular Mobile Architecture
