"Designing a product or a physical or virtual space, means to seek simplicity in form and concept, recover the bond with nature and to take inspiration from the animal world. My lines are fluid to searching motion, and simple in creating new forms that are unconsciously in the collective memory. "

Mobile Architectures. The book "Homes on the Move" published by Donato Nappo and Stefania Vairelli Edited by Ullmann, explore new trend of contemporary living and historic nomadic life.
From tents to legendary, eternally popular accommodationon wheels such as caravans and campers; from trailer homes to state of the art mobile structures for events or emergency situations, to the use of containers as ready-mades for contemporary pre-fab architecture: cheap, easy to build and environmentally-conscious. This absorbing journey started at the beginning of the last century, with the Far Westpioneers and their wagons, precursors of modern caravans, up to the advent of the rst caravans pulled by motor vehicles. We explore the 30s, with the rst pre-fabricated wooden houses, then the 60s, and the Utopian constructions of the Drop City hippy commune in Colorado, before coming to the present day, where practicality is combined with respect for nature and the use of materials of low environmental impact.
